These thin Pangea Manzanita Branches are perfect for many reptiles with smaller feet! Use these branches to add a naturalistic vibe to your terrarium. The Pangea Manzanita Branches are natural products that are sandblasted for a tastefully finished look. 

No other natural product can provide as many small branches for your reptiles to hold as this branch! These branches are very lightweight despite being quite strong for their thickness. We recommend pairing these branches with our Pangea Plants or live plants for maximum surface area exposure for your animals.

Since these branches are sandblasted, they do not resist water very well and can be prone to mold or rot if kept too moist, but this can be mitigated with UV exposure from a UVB light. Like all woods, disinfecting your Pangea Branchy Manzanita Sticks is recommended before adding them to your terrarium.

At Pangea Reptile, we care about the quality of your experience more than anything. For 2026, we are implementing new quality standards for our wood products to ensure that you receive the best possible reptile wood pieces for your next terrarium project. 

Every wood product that we ship to you must pass these new quality standards before it is deemed fit to ship. Wood pieces that fail to pass these checks are set aside and not shipped to you. 

What we measure with our new manzanita branch wood standards 

Sizing Standards 

Our sizing standards ensure that each piece of manzanita wood that you order from Pangea Reptile will fit into a certain size range, based on what option you select:

Since all of our wood is organic and naturally grown, we offer sizes within a certain range band. The wood is a living object, so every piece will be shaped and sized a little differently! Please note that when sizing, we always measure the longest dimension of the piece. 

Quality Standards 

In addition to the size checks, we also appraise the quality of your wood product based on whether or not it passes the following quality checks: 

Does the piece have an appropriate number of offshoot branches? 

Manzanita wood is valued for the number of expansive yet firm lightweight branches that give your reptile lots of places to climb like a natural ladder. Knowing this, we examine each piece to confirm that your selected size has the correct number of offshoot branches, based on this metric:

Do the offshoot branches have forks in them? 

We strive to give you manzanita wood that has a healthy number of forked branches to give your reptile a good climbing experience. 

Is the piece free of sharp edges from breaks? 

We ensure that your manzanita branch does not feature excessively sharp edges that could potentially harm you or your reptile.
