Refund policy

Unopened merchandise in undamaged packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit or an exchange. We will issue a credit in the form of a gift certificate or an exchange of the product. The buyer is responsible for any cost above the credit for an exchange.

Pangea will pay return shipping only on defective products that are returned within 30 days, and only after the product has been inspected and determined to be defective. Pangea will also pay for return shipping if an error was made on our part. When returning products for any other reason, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping charges and may be subject to additional handling and shipping fees.

If you received the wrong item or have a missing item, please contact us within 48 hours.

Items that are found to be defective after our 30 day return period must be handled through the manufacturer.

Damage

If an item was damaged in shipping please notify us immediately upon receiving the product. Keep the damaged item and the original shipping container as well as packing materials. Additionally, please keep the shipping label intact. We may ask for pictures of the damage and the label which will help to expedite the replacement process. Please retain the item and packaging for 14 days from the day you notify us of the damage, the carrier may send someone to inspect the damage. If pictures are provided we can typically re-ship the damaged items right away.

If a mistake is made in calculating discount or on a coupon code, we will contact you to let you know about the mistake and then you will have the option to pay the corrected amount or cancel your order.

Missing Package

Missing packages that are determined as "delivered" by the carrier will be treated as missing or stolen after 5 business days from the delivery date. After that point we will file a claim and proceed with the replacement or refund process.

Special shipping promotions are for the USA only to the lower 48 states.

Live Animals

All sales are final on live animals, which includes reptiles and insects. Credit may be issued if the customer changes their mind but no cash refunds are given. Each case will be given attention to come to a reasonable outcome. We do not refund live animals for delays in shipping due to weather or other circumstances, our goal is to ensure their safety during shipping.
