When you purchase a Mystery Morph Keeper's Choice Gecko, instead of picking the morph yourself, you let us roll for it using percentile dice and our population roll table.

How We Built the Roll Table

We calculated what percentage of our gecko population each morph makes up. The number tied to each morph maps directly to that morph's share of our population, so a roll simulates a random pick from every gecko we have on hand.

How the Roll Works

To keep every roll fair, we use a cork tube dice tower. For each gecko purchased, we film the dice drop and send you the results by email. When it's time to ship, we pick a gecko that matches the roll and send it your way. The exact gecko stays a mystery until you open the box.

How to Read Percentile Dice

If you haven't played a tabletop RPG before, percentile dice might be unfamiliar. Two dice are rolled together to produce one number between 1 and 100. The tens-place die (00–90) gives the first digit, and the ones-place die (0–9) gives the second. For example:

• 10 and 0 = 10
• 20 and 8 = 28
• 00 and 1 = 1
• 00 and 0 = 100

The dice drop into a cork bark tube, bouncing and rolling down to keep every result random.
