'Type B' Mourning Geckos are a Hawaiian locale. This variety comes from a different lineage with a bold pattern and lighter coloration compared to the original, or more commonly kept, 'Type A' variety.
These Geckos are parthenogenetic, meaning that there are no males and females reproduce independently. Mourning geckos of similar size can be housed in small groups. It is recommended to house this species in a glass vivarium with high humidity. Live plants are encouraged. Temperature minimum of 70 degrees and maximum of 85. Feed these guys (...gals) Pangea Fruit Mix Complete and appropriate sized crickets, roaches or flies 2x per week or more.
