  • leachie slightly covered nostril?

Hello. My leachianus gecko seems overall healthy (eating, pooping, as active as usual), no issues except her nostril seems smaller than it should. Attached here is a picture. Is this due to retained shed?

How do you think I should proceed?

    Cheers.

It looks like she has a bit of shed stuck in there. If she's not acting bothered by it, just wait. It should come out with her next shed.

I had a leopard gecko who would get a plugged nostril every winter. The vet told me to use a bit of bacitracin daily and eventually it softened up enough to come out. If the shed doesn't come out on its own, and if you can't find a little edge that you could use a tweezers on, try that.
