  • Gecko from Pangea "no photo" special

I love seeing what people get when they buy "no individual photo" specials, like the ones from Pangea or the Motherload from ACReptiles. So since I finally have one of my own, I thought I'd put it out there. This gecko is from the Pangea special on RTB tailless females (which seems to have already sold out).

She's in shed, but you can still tell she's pretty lovely. I'll try to get some more photos after shed if people are interested.

She looks very much like one of mine in colouration, and like her sister in terms of chunkiness/taillessness. Gorgeous crests.

Here are some photos not in shed. I'm still not sure what that base color is - it's a bit too brown to be gray, and she doesn't fire up super dark. I'm thrilled with the patterning and the crests.

...And I'm intrigued by a small patch of pure white just under her dorsal. She looks like an Easter egg someone dipped ALMOST all the way into the dye.

I suspect it's developmental - anyone else seen this before?

She's the angriest crested gecko I've ever met. She's bitten me twice!

What a beauty! Maybe the egg dip spot was covered up by something and that didn't fire up? I bet cestiefu has something to say about it, she has one with odd spots. And she is probably still settling in, that's why she is angry.

Nope, it's real - it's always there. (It's even in one of the first photos I posted, although I didn't notice it at the time.) I do love a goofy-looking weirdly-fired gecko lol but this isn't one.
