How do these look fired up?

They generally fire up like the first two photos in this thread. There is some variation. I explain a bit more about it in the first posting of this thread.

          I figured so.
Would you say the difference between this and a similar looking lavender is the fired up color?

I think there is more to it than the base color. There are other traits that seem to be linked to this. The reverse outlining on the pattern and the chalky white pattern coloration seem to go hand in hand on these animals.

At first I saw the first couple photos in the thread and thought one of the geckos looked like this guy and just dismissed it.
But when you mentioned the reverse outlining of the pattern and I got him out just now its hard to not see the similarity.

His white is definitely a chalky color, but he doesn't have any of the brown.

There are some similarities. I can tell you that the Cold Fusion line fires down to a pale sky blue and is remarkably heritable. I have other animals similar to yours that are unrelated. The coolest thing is that they look great durring the daytime when other cresties unfire and look less attractive.

That's the other difference. That photo is fired down.
I like this guy so much more fired down than fired up.

This is a recent hatchling produced by Cold Fusion. It doesn't show the golden brown like other hatchlings. I'm hopeful that this is a good sign and forward movement towards refinement.

A recent hatchling. I just love the white fringing that carries around the toes and the quad pinning that looks like a replication of dorsal patterning on this one.

This was taken right after hatching.
