  • CaBBs' Cresties

Hello everyone, I'm new to posting on the forum but I've been reading it ever since I bought my first crested geckos about 2 years ago. I now have 2 egg laying females, 1 breeding male, one new younger male, and 10 babies hatched so far (though some have new homes now). I thought I'd share some pictures here and get some feedback!

Trogdor is the reason I decided to get a Crestie in the first place. I went to Repticon just to look since I've always loved reptiles and amphibians. I've had a chameleon, turtles, lizards, frogs, newts and various other critters before. When I walked by the table of cresties I was shocked at how calm they were, and seemed to really enjoy being held (my chameleon Cosmo did not). Trogdor was staring at me and pawing at the lid, so of course I had to have her. Then I decided she needed a friend too, and got Reptar. I lucked out and they both ended up female, so I decided to get a male to give a shot at breeding. I found Norbert at a local reptile store and he was the calmest crestie I'd ever seen. The two females have been laying eggs like clockwork since then, and I've hatched 10 babies and currently have 7 eggs. This past weekend I went to Repticon and picked up Mr. Pink for the next generation of breeding.

Great collection! And I, too, especially love the baby crestie on the daddy's head.

Beautiful!! What are the Chewies like for attitude? I love the look of them, we are getting a Crestie for my son but maybe after all my research I need a Crestie/Garg/Chewie for myself. LOL

The chewies seem very sweet so far. They can be a bit skittish, but not much more than a few of my cresties and I'm sure it's mostly because they are still adjusting to the new home. I love them, and that permanent smile on their face is so great

The female is right at 2 years old, and I believe the Male is around 4 years old. Hoping to breed them and get some adorable red and green babies next year!

The kids are all so precious! I particularly love number 11 Reptars pattern is wicked .. and I am so jealous of the chewies.
