His dam was purchased by Maddox gravid, which resulted in the production of Agog. His egg was the only viable of that season. Her offspring in following seasons were all normal.

His body began to contort with age. His spine kinking, his jaw would sometimes become unaligned, his toes would twist in different directions, he went partially blind and eventually needed constant assistance with shedding.

I would link the post itself in which she noted all of this but since she posted it on her personal Facebook page, I am not sure if that would be okay with her. Instead, I will link another forum post of him as an adult, when he began to have noticeable issues.

Apparently there are similar issues with other dwarf Crested Geckos so the intentional attempt at reproducing them is highly advised against.

Although his story is a sad one in the end, he was lucky to have been hatched in her care and not with someone who would have sold him off for a pretty penny as "unique" or somewhere he would have not received the special care he required. It makes me happy to know he was well loved and cared for throughout his life.
    Thanks for the link!

And yeah, I agree- no one should breed for a dwarf.
I am also glad she cared for him. There is too many people who would have sold him. He was very loved, not just by his owner, but all of us!

Oh, wow. She looks totally normal proportionally. If I had seen a photo of her without any information, I would have just assumed she was a normal juvenile.

Usually, the ones I see have shortened bodies but semi-normal limb length (same for the dwarf Leopard Gecko I once stumbled across online).
