  • The Pygmy Crested *Drum Roll.*... Agog!!

    Its been way too long since I posted up pictures. Now I'm not sure of his current weight because my scale needs batteries so here is a pic against a penny to give you an idea. As fas as age, Agog is about 1 1/2 Years old and roughly about 5 grams.

              Very odd to me. He is very pretty but goodness...only five grams! Is his back wavy or is that the pic angle?

                @Lauren, I don't see him reaching 10 grams at all...



                Agog has been different since birth. He back isn't wavey but has always had an odd shape to it. I think it has to do with the way his back legs stick out. He is a specia gecko and was hand fed from 3 days to almost a year of age. He's finally able to live on his own. If you look up some of his older threads you'll see it was just the way he was born. He will never grow to adult size or even reach 10 grams.

                        soooo cute, I love seeing pictures of him! while i always hope that my cresties develop and grow normally, i can't say i'd be too upset to have a little guy like him
                        i haven't read all of your threads about him, do you think this had something to do with incubation, or do you assume it was some random mutation?

                          I'm guessing it was random. He incubated 106 days and hatched looking rather normal but I could always tell he was different
