Yes on the dividing the tank as I want no chance of either getting hurt.
My question is, what material should I use? Glass, screening, and can i
use silicone to seal it in place?

If you put it in three spots it probably could. You would end up with a lot of uneaten food though and again they still might have trouble sometimes.

Have you thought about trying to divide the tank into two sections?

Good Morning.

I am thinking, and have this vision of getting 2 adult females and placing them in
my 75 gallon tank. I already have a ton a vines, bamboo, the whole works to make
this something special, but recently was told this setup is to big. I would like to know
if I place food and water in three different spots throughout the cage if you think it
may work?
