so have anyone of you guys a DIY cork bark craft?
cork bark is the first thing that comes to my mind for setup..
    what other options are,except background?
    what about cork bark ledges..??
    any ideas/advises would be appreciated!!

One cool idea I have seen is a "cork tree", essentially you get one large cork round for the trunk and then attach several smaller cork rounds to it as branches. I've wanted to do one for almost a year now, but still can't find the perfect trunk piece :P Another cool idea would be to take cork flats and create ledges on the background; instead of attaching them flat to the background, do it at an angle. This creates ledges that you could fill it with dirt/plants. What I ended up doing in my live terrarium is attaching cork rounds so that they jut out of the background toward the front of the viv, and I think it turned out well. Cork is such a versatile hardscape, you can do some really neat things with it!

these days i have an obsession with cork ledges..i want to make one,but the only thing that can stop me,is the magnets...
      other options except magnets?
what if i stick it with silicone straight to terrarium?
but i dont wanna regret it later! :/

I got one large cork bark and split it into two. From there I used silicone to "glue" suction cups to the bark. Mind you I can only place these in one position now but I can move them up and down.

There were two different vines that my pet shop offered, unfortunately I don't remember what they where. As for the cork bark they have suction cups attached to them with a bit of silicone. I dug out a small hole for them to sit in so they were as flush to the bark as I could make them, put a good dab of silicone in the hole and then put the suction cup in. Looking back, I personally would have loved to used the magnets, but I did this redesign pretty spur of the moment (I saw the cork bark on sale and decided it was time for a redesign).

              so magnets FTW!
my problem is that the earth strong magnets are unvailable in my town..
i must order them, and the shipping is more expensive than magnets!
the other option is suction cup,but i dont trust their strength..
              so i'm stuck!

You could also silicone the cork directly to the glass; its semi-permanent, but its a strong hold. If you use black silicone you can trim the excess off the edges, and the black looks great from the outside

maybe is foolish but what if i put duct tape on a part of the glass, and then silicone the bark on it?
could then unstick duct tape with bark or my idea is ridiculous?

Im not positive but I dont think that would work... siliconing directly to the glass is easy to remove (the silicone just scrapes right off with a razor blade), it will just take a few days to remove/re-silicone, so if you decide to go this route I would make sure you are very happy with your placement before sticking it on
