I just recently switched from bamboo to pipes! I love them and they are so easy to deal with. I didn't think of adding the plants to it, I currently just use suction cups to hold the plants in but this was a nice idea! Thanks for the information!

          Nice tutorial.

          A couple of suggestions-
I hot glue a plastic bottle cap onto each the side of the tub and then slip the tube over them. Keeps them in place but still allows them to be removed easily. It's pretty easy to find a right sized bottle cap for each size of pipe, or can use a short piece of PVC pipe glued on instead.

Just a warning, hot glue melts right through the pipe insulation. In my experience, the two didn't work together (maybe I wasn't doing it right?).

I don't think they meant they put the glue on the insulation - rather onto the bottle cap/piece of pipe that is hot glued to the side of the tub. Then you just slip the pipe insulation over that piece to hold it in place.

Awesome vid, thanks for sharing! I actually have a bunch of pipe insulation sitting around that I was debating on how to use in my geckos' enclosures. I look forward to trying some of your ideas.

Thank you for making and sharing this wonderful tutorial.

I went out to Home Depot and bought some pipe insulation after watching it. Later that night I saw Taji already enjoying his new perch.

How do you cut a hiding spot in them without the pipe bending in the middle?
