  • Gargoyle Gecko!

    Hey everyone!
so, in a couple of days I will be getting my very own Gargoyle Gecko!

    Here he is:

Name:	Ares.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	98.1 KB
ID:	1105509

I am just waiting on one of my females to be picked up then I will have room for him!
Would anyone know what his morph is from this photo..? She said he was about half fired up in this photo and that when fired up he is a red colour. And when he is fired down he is a light cream. Sorry I will have to take more once he is here.

And name ideas! His previous owner named him Ares but to me that seems to be a very common name. At least I see it a lot.
Any names will be taken into consideration!

    Thanks!

Hi 're morph difficult to tell from this picture.
    ?mosaic or ? reticulated banded.
You have probably seen it but there is a gargoyle morph guide in this forum once you have your garg home & you can see him clearly you might find this helpful.
Gargoyle colour chances can be quite dramatic & stunning!
Good luck with the new guy.

Ooo, I like him!! How big is he?

I am getting my garg, Hygge, from Pangea on Tuesday; I am so excited! He's a little guy yet, so I can watch him grow up. Hygge is a nice brown reticulated, but I'll be able to see his pattern better once he's here too.

He is a sub adult/adult I think. They were very vague on info so I guess it will be a surprise, ha ha ha.
I was originally going to have him dropped of this weekend but, I had a sudden change in plans as now, I am out of town... Sucks cause now I am going to have to wait longer!!! I can't wait though he is adorable.
Will definitely post some more pictures when he is here! I'm going to have a hard time waiting while he is acclimating, ha ha ha.

Okay, so he is not here yet (Sunday he is coming) but I did receive some more photos. They are more clear, plus, he is fired up.
            Here they are:

These may be easier to tell what morph he is.
Still open to any name suggestions!

Aww, he's beautiful! I'm kinda jealous that yours is bigger already, and used to being handled. Mine is pretty young yet, and I'm not sure how much he's been handled at Pangea, but hopefully I'll be able to work with him after the acclimation period. I'd really love it if he turned out to be a friendly little guy!

Thanks! I am looking forward to holding him for about two minutes then having to let him acclimate... It is going to be a long painful 3-4 weeks He looks to be a little sweetie. I am thinking of naming him Oakley maybe. Not too sure as he is not even here yet, ha ha ha. Can't wait though!!! I am looking into new tanks in the next month. I think I am going to grab him a 20 gallon long and flip it on its side. Can't wait!
