im looking into getting either a leachie or chahoua and reptile depot has both for good prices has anybody done business with them?

No can't say i have. But if you are considering buying from them then i would ask for individual pics of their available geckos.

They have "ghost" pages on a few of their geckos. I know that for the longest time, they didn't have any link on their page to the individual crestie pics, however there was a page that had them. They just might have one for leachies and/ or chahouas. :wink:

You should talk to other poeple who have done business with them. Many of my friends have not had a good sale with them. Not trying to give them a bad rep but this is what i have heard.

I have purchased alot of geckos from Reptile Depot. Cresteds, Chahouas and some Giant Day Geckos. I was very happy with all my geckos from Reptile Depot and the price was right. I have even purchased on-line and could not believe the deals they are giving. They have excellant service and quality. I have personally met them at the San Diego and LA Reptile shows. Larry and his staff are very informative and go out of there way to take care of you. I will buy from Reptile Depot again. :lol:

Sorry for a late post. I just purchased from them. 1 chahoua, 1 garg, and a crested.

They were all fat and healthy.

I was expexcting a baby chahoua as advertised, but they sent me a sub-adult male. I am not upset over this at all because he is gorgeous! He is REALLY dark with red and a stripe down his back.

The Gargoyle was supposed to be striped but they sent a banded with a tiny bit of orange in it. I called and they weren't willing to correct their mistake.

I would have to say I am very pleased, but there were a few minor mistakes. But the prices are great so im not complaining.

Ive heard alot of good about them, but Ive also heard alopt of bad, the problems Ive heard of have mainly stemmed from the fact that they keep wild caught and cb animals in close proximity, facilitating the spread of disease. The price is right, but theres always a risk with places like that.

the cheaper 10 dollar lizards.. such as emerald swifts and such are most likely wild caught.. the more upper ones such as cresteds, chahous, leachies areMOST liekly cb..
