    would any of these be safe in a crested geckos tank ? also can a baby be in a tank with substrate ?

    I would recommend to keep your little one on paper towels until it reaches a larger size. But any organic top soil will work.

    Also I would recommend if youre not going to be setting it up as a bioactive, stick with paper towels. Just soil alone will still be required to be changed quite often as all it is doing is growing bacteria and mold within in. To keep happy healthy soil, you will want to make it bioactive. Otherwise it is safest for your pet to be on paper towels unless you do partial to full soil changes quite often.

      I agree with Melissa. (I have 2 bioactive terrariums and 2 on paper towels).
