  • Is this mold?

My gecko just laid eggs and they look fertile when I candle them, but they are covered in brown splotches. The brown has no texture or fur.Click image for larger version

they look under-calciumed. that looks like they are stained. what are you incubating them in? and what did she lay them in? mold is usually white or grey and fuzzy. if you could post a pic of you candeling them, we could tell you if they are fertile for sure. but dont bother it too much. what is the temp youre keeping them at? what is your gecks weight?

I am currently keeping them at 70 degrease.
I am keeping them in some moss and am trying to get some hatch rite or vermiculite.
the gecko that laid them was 35 grams. she was bred in the pet store, but I did not plan on breeding.

yes, looks fertile for sure. you can expect a pair from her every 3-6 weeks. that doesnt look like mold. if she laid them on dirt, then its most likely stained from that. goodluck and keep me updated!! (the patience is the worst thing)
