  • Crested gecko help! What's causing this??

During nightly checks on my geckos, one seemed to be "stuck" at the fired up stage in some parts of its body. It has been like this for 3 days now and has not even faded. The areas that seems to be "stuck" are turning brown.

Do you provide lighting or is there access to sunlight in your enclosure? Usually misfires like that occur when the gecko is partially exposed to light (especially sunlight) and part is covered up. It is weird that she's stayed like that for multiple days. Try putting him in a deli cup with a damp paper towel and keep her in the dark for about half an hour and see if there's any change. I don't think it's a sign of ill health, just her being weird. Looks female for the size.
