Thanks. I'm still getting different opinions about whether it's a flame or a harley with lighter markings, but regardless I do love him. Here's another picture that gets the coloring a bit clearer. It is with a flash though, so it washed it out slightly.

You have a very pretty crested gecko! I would consider it an olive flame with dalmatian spots from the pictures you provided. I hope that helps.

Thanks. I was pretty sure he was still a flame, but since his side markings got a bit more distinct and darkened up, I wasn't sure if people would think he was a Harlequin or something else. He's a bit skittish getting settled in again, but hopefully he'll settle down. My gecko was with another family for a while when my living arrangement was a bit more of a hassle, so he's been through a lot the last couple of months poor guy.

    What a cool gecko!!

Based on the pictures of him (especially as an adult), he has the same type of patterning on his back and sides as my gecko does. She is considered a flame.

As my gecko grew up, she got darker on the sides of her body as well. Color and patterns sometimes change only slightly, or very dramatically based on age. It's a nice surprise!

Some help with Morph and Color?

Alright, so here's a mixture of pictures from his current age, as well as when I first got him as a baby. He's probably about a two years, and he's just with me right now to petsit while the family that took him in for me is away. I'm planning on getting a baby soon since I don't want to take him from the children who have been caring for him while living arrangements for me were hectic. When I first got Dragon I was told he was a flame morph, though I wanted to double check now that he's bigger and seems to have more patterning. He's also incredibly different fired up than he is down. When he was a baby he was a very light cream color fired down, now he's still like that, but still retains more of the dark lavender and brown color almost. I'll have to try getting a picture some time of that.

I'd like to know for sure what morph he is, and maybe even the colors? Sorry if some are blurry.

Unfortunately I don't have any when he was entirely fired down as a baby either, but he got even paler than some of what's shown in his baby pictures.
