I try not to let any of my geckos get chubby or fat its not healthy. I know there are some cresties that are just naturally big & not fat which ks ok, but having rolls is really unhealthy for them, just like in humans & any other animal.

And she got fat off of just cgd. I was told crickets is what made them fat. nope here. If you have any idea Lesleyerin when you have 60ish adults, housed in groups where some are thin and others are not, not over eat, I would love to hear it. I do have a tank of the plumpest geckos, but no real idea of how them to get them to loose weight. They are all feed same.

Im not trying to be rude or insult anyone I know sometimes it just happens. The only thing you really can do is handle then more to encourage them to be more active & feed them a little less. Maybe cut out any bugs for awhile.

I would keep them in separate tanks so that diet can be controlled. That 80 gram girl is very obese and can't be healthy.

Well I can tell you that Spottacus, the yellow dal pictured earlier in this thread, is definitely NOT overweight. Everything about him is HUGE! Even his feet are bigger than a normal crestie. He is just a giant and NOT OVERWEIGHT.

I may not have the heaviest crestie but if he were to get plump like the ones posted here rather the the slim form he is in now, I think I have a winner. This is Zeus, in the photo he is 61 grams but I weighed him at 64 a month ago. He may weigh that much but he is still decently slim. The reason is that he is almost 11" in length! Rather than the 7-8 average of most cresties, this guy is truly a giant. Here are the photos...

Thank you soooo much. He's definitely one of my favorites!! He's super chill to and seems to tolerate handling really well. He's always the first one I pull out for anyone new to geckos and curious.
