  • a LOT of orange tiger pics

This will probably be a strain for dialup users, but I took a lot of pics of my gecko today. It just came out of the blue and should be shedding soon, so I'm anxious to see it at full color. The first pic is really blurry since I didn't use a flash, but it shows the colors pretty accurately (at least on my monitor). All the others washed out the colors a little too much-the tiger bars were looking dark and solid today.

What should I breed this one to in the long run? I love the green cresteds, but it'll probably be a while before I get into them. I was thinking this one would be good for starting a fire/tiger project since there are so many awesome fires out there and I've only seen a handful of fire tigers. Any opinions?

Yeah, I'll gladly take access to Sabre if it's a female. I'd sure like it if your green one could pair up with mine too. Green tigers seem like a good idea.

Good luck with the future tiger project. I'd love to see some super refined tigers start to appear .

Imagine a really strong tiger pattern on a green gecko.... The "Grass Tigers". That would be soooo cool looking.

Sanskrit, as far as refined tigers, if it turns out to be a female I think it'd throw some nice babies with Sabre. I sent lizardrick1 some pics of another young crested with very thick tiger bars that I think he's going to add to his collection so we may have some heavily striped ones before too long (he definately will).

As much as I'd like to see green tigers, I wouldn't mind green firetigers either.

It was pretty much fired up in these pics. I just have weird lighting to contend with (really bright fluorescent lights in the dorm) and I'm not a good enough photographer to compensate. I'll try to get some pics of it in natural lighting before too long. I took this picture before I even had it out of its deli cup and so far it's the most accurate color-wise, although it does vary in intensity from day to night. The colors in this pic are the way it looks most of the time.

Edit: I can't get the pic to work for some reason. Here's the URL if you really want to see it.
