  • Laying Box? What do you use?

I have used moss and it worked well up to now. I am going to try coco fiber today. Are there any other substrates that work? Can you use perlite?

I personally don't like the idea of perlite as a laying substarte, incubation sure, but laying no thanks. Seems like a impaction hazard.

I go to Lowes and buy a big bag of peat moss (works great) and it only cost like less than 3 bucks.

50% Peat & 50% ALL ORGANIC potting soil, works great!
