  • Some more pics of my new crestie

Well, I finally came up with a couple names for my new cresties. (You know it's much easier when you can sex them as hatchlings like snakes. LOL)

    Meet "Echo":

I was relieved to see him/her fatter this morning. I always worry until I see that they are eating. Echo was looking thin yesterday, but must have dived in to the food overnight. Some nice poops in the cage and a fatter gecko this morning than last night. Hooray!

Bear with me, I'm excited about the new kid. A couple more pictures. Note to self, LESS FLASH, LOL.

The other harlequin I'm getting from Pangea will be "Whisper", and I am still thinking on the Dalmatian. LOL Can't wait to meet them.

Really nice pinstripe. Even with the flash the eye on the last picture showed up, quite nicely too.

It's just a baby. Hatch date listed as 8-9-05. You can see why I'm so paranoid that it'll eat and do ok. So very tiny. But...so far, so good.

You can bet I'm watching it like a hawk, but trying to give it some space. (Other than a few pics while cleaning the cage, of course.)

Seeing the full belly this morning was a big relief.

LOL, and believe it or not...I didn't make the connection until someone told me.

But yes, Echo the gecko he/she is.
The harlequin from Matthew will be Whisper.
                              The Dalmatian will be Ditto.
(heh, Ditto the Dalmatian...OK, didn't catch that til now, either...I'm shlow, yesh, a little shlow.)

That's my soon to be little crew. Should keep me busy for a while.

You all will be sick of photos of them in no time at all, I'm sure.
