  • Crested gecko eggs

Hi! So I have 2 crested geckos, male and female. For months I was looking for eggs and didnt find any so I kinda gave up, thinking it wasn't going to happen. Out of no where, I see 2 hatchlings running around the enclosure. I'm aware that the geckos may eat the eggs if we leave them in the enclosure but it's been a couple rounds of eggs now and they've never eaten them. My question is, other than keeping the eggs safe, how important is it to incubate outside the enclosure? Because the enclosure is at the perfect temp and humidity for them and I haven't run into a problem leaving them in there till they hatch.
