  • My Female PI

    She just came in today! I really didnt want to handle her much tonight, I want to give her a chance to calm down. Ill snap more pics prob this weekend! Im going to put a lot more weight on her before I introduce her to Hulk, at least 15-20 more grams.

    Still waiting on one more chewie to get here!

        She is very beautiful - congrats!

        As for breeding I think there are bigger concerns than just weight - how old is she? Most of my PI are around 5-7 months old at 34g and as you probably already know, it's not safe to breed a female anything before two years of age.

        Yes, she should be at least ~55g, but she should also be at least 2, more like 3 years old.

          I agree she is beautiful, I also agree that age is more important. I know the waiting sucks but you will ruin a good female if you breed before 2 yrs. I also have 6 month olds that are that weight. Don't rush putting them together it is way too hard on a female and you'll end up with nothing but problems.

            Thanks everyone....she is 26months old, She is from a university in the Czech Republic. I am def gonna wait until she is 50-55g before I even think about putting her with the male.

              If she is that old, I am not sure that she will get much bigger, to be honest. I think a weight gain of 15-20g is nearly impossible.

              She sure is beautiful though!

                I would have to agree that if she is that age she may not get much bigger. I would offer roaches for sure.
