  • Research paper on banning of reptiles, etc

Hey guys Im doing a research paper on why the banning of reptiles and exotic animals should be stopped and I need some useful citations, articles, books, or any other info basis. The websites cant be .com they have to be .org, .gov, etc.

    Thanks!!

Um...I don't mean to be a jerk but isn't the point of doing a research paper....well, um, DOING RESEARCH? If the research was as easy as going to a forum for other people to do your research, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? Just sayin...

Hop off? Like I said, I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

Idk, maybe it's just the principle of the matter...the internet wasn't anything that it is today when I was in school and I'd honestly feel like I cheated using something like a forum to solicit responses for work that I was responsible for. Just my moral fiber I guess. On that note, I'll leave you to your "means of research".

Yyyeah asking people to "hop off" probably isn't gonna get you much help :/

It's OK to ask for links, but maybe let us know what you've found so far? Folks aren't gonna want to put in work to post something you've already found.

I just googled "invasive reptile impact" and you get all kinds of "good" things like this:

                http://www.aphis.usda.gov/wildlife_d...bs/pitt052.pdf

The internet is amazingly full of any info you would like to find, it just requires time to wade through all of it. Good Luck!

Check USARK and PIJAC, too. The main argument AGAINST banning herps is the fact that there are already millions of them in homes in every state of the US save Hawaii. Making them illegal would have the effect of making releases more likely, not less likely.
