  • RIP baby Banana-kid

So sad. My little yellow hatchling, one of the two I got from Banana and Woodstock, (it was her first season this past year) has died. I was out of town and got back yesterday, and so sadly, it happened on the gecko-sitter's watch, but I do not in any way blame the sitter. Weather around here is weird as heck, hot and wet, cold and dry the next day, it can change within hours. Plus, when they're teeny, it can happen so very quickly. While I am bummed about this, it actually helps me consider breeding Banana and Woody again this year.

RIP cute little yellow Banana-Kid, I loved you so much and I hope you're in happy Gecko Summerlands now.

So sorry to hear of your little ones passing. What a shame.
Must have been traumatic for your sitter as well.
The babies seem so tough at times, all the biting/gaping they are capable of doing makes us forget just how fragile they really are.
    Sorry

I'm so sorry to hear about your little Banana.

Ikhura, what a beautiful quote. It makes me feel better as I've recently lost my two cresties.

Thanks everyone, it means a lot to me. I loved the little greenish yellow thing, I had named it "Choppin' Broccoli".

Saille im sorry, you lost some toes and now a banana, loosing babies is tough, esp when there is no clear reason why.
