  • Hello 😊

    Hello all!
    My name is TheLuckyMuffin.
I'm an Environmental Educator, currently working between a zoo and a veterinary hospital. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, projects of all sorts, and learning new things.
I have 18 years of experience keeping fish and amphibians.
10 years ago I got my first reptile, a Red Eared Slider named Todd. He's 34 years old this year and still going strong!
Back in March I picked up a Mourning gecko who now resides in a basic planted vivarium. I have since picked up a couple more with the intent to grow a colony (I already have eggs on the way! Yay!!).
I also have 2 Cats, a boyfriend, and some Zebra Danios.
I am very excited to be a part of this community and am already looking into my next several species (both amphibian and reptile).

Thank you, BigTom! I am looking at getting a Crested next, I think. I'm just waiting for the next expo to come to town. Unfortunately I don't have much space right now. Between the aquariums and plants I have, I'm running out of room.

Question: What type of gecko is in your avatar picture? I love it's coloring!
