  • Hello from Cowtown!

Hi everyone! My name's Samantha, and I'm a new crestie owner from Calgary, Alberta. I'm joining up so I have somewhere to ask questions, as there's just so much conflicting info out there. I'm a mom of two (6 and 2), and 2 cats, as well as our 3.5 month old crestie, Laser. It's with a heavy heart that I am joining today - just this morning we lost our first crestie due in part to some seriously bad advice that I trusted, which I will detail elsewhere. We have spent the better part of today improving our set-up for our new little guy, though, and I am determined to do better this time. Please bear with me as I will likely ask some very basic and perhaps stupid questions. I hope to learn a lot from the people here.

No, thankfully we live in an appropriately-named Northern Hills community! My office was one of the ones out of power until late in the week though, so there was a lot of working from home in my pajamas! And thank goodness for working remotely - I work in a tax-related field and CRA doesn't really give a damn about floods, so we were busting our humps for the June 30th corporate tax deadline in the midst of it all.
