  • Hi everyone...

Hey everybody, my name is Matthew and I'm just stopping by to make an introduction. I've kept reptiles and amphibians for the last 23 years of my life and I seriously doubt that any of that is going to change lol. Right not I have a minimalist collection consisting of a lone male Lesser Platinum Ball Python (that I won from Ben Siegel for eating bugs last October ), 4 Crested geckos which I am in the process of identifying their exact morphs (2 of them came from Emily's Geckos, super pleased with the quality), 4 Bettas, a starter colony of feeder Discoid Roaches, and a single Bumblebee Millipede. I call that my minimalist collection because it is the smallest collection I have ever boasted. I can't really care for too much because I'm back in school and moving around... Anyways I don't want to take up all of your time with useless facts about myself. I'll see ya on the forums.

Welcome to Pangea. I would say I have a maximalist collection (at 39 at the moment since it isn't baby season) given my living space. I'm visiting in FL right now (from very snowy Boston) and paid a visit to Ben Siegels yesterday.

        Welcome

Only 4 cresteds and 4 bettas?! (At my max I think I've had 500 bettas and 76 cresteds - Not at the same time though!) Better watch out - they both have the possibility of becoming very habit forming haha

Thanks for you replies everyone. Still trying to get the hang of using a forum again lol. Haven't been on one in around 10 years. Acpart...you went to Ben Siegel's huh? How did you like it? Lalraleellbp...if I'm not mistaken, I believe I spoke with you at the recent West Palm Repticon. You were working Viki's table? Anyways, I purchased a "red" Crested from ya'll. Doing well by the way. Vienna...I do understand the "addiction" or maybe "affliction" lol so to speak. I've had the privileg of keeping and caring for thousands of herps and fishies. Now I'm starting to rebuild and must be careful on what projects I wish to get into.

Ben Siegel's was one of the cleaner reptile stores I've been in.
