  • Other lizards,snakes, and amphibians...

The biggest appeal of Crested geckos to me has always been having no need for supplemental heat. In my new apartment, landlords will not allow me to have any reptile that requires a heat lamp or mat, since they pay the heat and electric.

What are some other lizards, snakes, and amphibians that do not require supplemental heat aside from Cresties, Gargs, Chahouas, and Leachies?

Most reptiles (including cresties and the like) do benefit from having supplemental heating. It'll depend on your typical 'room temperature', especially at winter. You could look at some Chinese species like Chinese cave geckos, Chinese waterside skinks, although you would have to check on their UV requirements
