Got my two Tokays out for a photoshoot recently and thought I would share the results. Hope you enjoy.

First up, my big boy Keres:

Fun with mirrors - she was VERY curious about the other gecko below her.

Awesome, we're friends on InstaG and FB! I love your Photography! He must be pretty well tamed to sit still that long!

Nice looking geckos. I wish mine were tame enough to do this.

They're one of my favorite species by far - amazing animals.

Haha we are, and thanks! It took a bit of work, but he's great for handling now...and yes, I am grateful he's tame enough to allow me to go all paparazzi on him!

Beautiful tokays! I had a wild caught one that looks like hypnosa and would bite and latch on for up to 30 minutes till I could get him off. RIP Mr.Grumpy

Thank you! It was fun working with a mirror. I brought out a few of my other geckos for a shoot on the mirror as well, and the reaction was pretty much universal.

How hard were yours to tame? Mr.Grumpy was born to be untamable lol.

My female was incredibly easy. However, she's CB, and I acquired her at just 3 months of age.
My male took a bit more effort, even though he's CB as well. He was never handled prior to me getting him, so his naturally defensive instincts were well-established. I was determined, so I worked with him for several hours a day every day. It paid off in the end.

I was only able to get mine to not bite me on sight. Occasionally he'd calm down once out. But I got him as an adult WC so it was quite the battle.
