    I picked up two of these striped male henks at Tinley, as well as a a female sibling.

            Cool! Are you going to try to select for the stripe as a potential heritable trait? Does the female have anything like that?

              The female does not have a stripe. The stripe is a trait that is consistently being passed on.

                sounds interesting. Ooh, imagine if there were morphs of leaf-tails....the awesomeness levels would be unbearable!
