  • Picked up some fatties!

We picked up 4 African Fat Tailed Gecko's today at White Plains. We got 2 female 100% het patternless females and a pair of AMEL's.

The 2 het patternless geckos are at my friends house and the AMEL's are with me. Here are some pictures of them:

I never liked fat tails, that was until I started seeing all the insane morphs coming out from them. Congrats on the new projects!

Ugh I'm SO JEALOUS! They're all really good lookers!
                Gonna produce some patternless amels?

I simply adore fat tails. I'm really hoping to start a collection of them this year
The name Stella fills me with dread.

I don't think you can produce patternless amel. I think I read somewhere that it is a lethal combo. Anyone have a good article or webpage that would clear something like this up as well as what other combo's are non-compatible?

You know what, you're right. You can tell I'm not paying attention to what I'm saying. Amel is lethal with either all or almost all combos.

Geckoforums.net has a Fat Tail subsection that I lurk on. A lot of those guys are really willing to help anyone getting into fats since there aren't many.

Just a head+desk moment there! haha. I'm still learning them though. There are a lot of morphs and things are still cropping up.
