  • Need help with identification...

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. Presently I own crested geckos: a pair of adults and two babies that i bought. I am going to acquire to more geckos this weekend. they are being advertised as "banana geckos". I have a picture that I will post. Can someone tell me if it is a vorax or maginata? thanks so much for your help.

Looks Gehyra vorax? It's also called the poor man's leachie, apparently.

All I did was a quick google search.

I'm not so sure it's gehrya. It looks more like a golden gecko (gekko ulikovskii), but that's hard to say from the picture. Do you have a better picture?

no i dont that is the picture sent to me which wasnt very good i had to crop it to get a better view of the gecko. No matter really what they are. I do want to get them, but the person who is rehoming them is being sparatic. from the looks of the pictures sent they need to be 'rescued'.

i do have another question. could you explain the numbers next to all the geckos/lizards shown of what ppl own? thanks so much

            males.females.unsexed.eggs

so 1.2.3.4 would mean one male, 2 females, 3 juvies and 4 eggs.

It looks like a golden gecko to me as well.
