Hi everyone!
my two year old leopard gecko has been keeping his mouth slightly open since last night. We haven’t changed anything in his setup but the temperature outside has dropped substantially. If anyone knows why he is doing this or has a guess as to why please let me know.
Hard to tell why. Is the gecko getting supplemented with vitamin D3 and calcium? If not, this could be the first sign of metabolic bone disease. You could also check inside the mouth to see if there is a sore, swelling or other type of lesion.
He is consistently supplemented with D3 and calcium. I will try to check his mouth again! (I tried earlier and he was NOT having it) Thank you for your response
