  • Rescued a Bullfrog...Jeremiah ;)

This is my reason to hate humanity...a customer had been telling me he had an African bullfrog that he was going to let go or kill. He went into graphic detail of how he was going to do so. After a few weeks of that, I told him I would take it. He brought it in several weeks ago. Its an American bullfrog, and was living in filth. The tank was all stinky black water, under which was 2 inches of mud, poop and 60 or so dead crickets. I cleaned the cage out and he's finally eating. I named him Jeremiah(was a bullfrog, a very good friend of mine )

I honestly couldn't say anything when I saw the tank. The smell was obvious from a couple feet away. I just took it and started cleaning it. Supposedly the nicer of the two owners has come in to ask how the frog's doing, I'm sort of surprised he cares. Although they are admitted alcoholics, one who realizes its a problem and maybe feels guilty? I don't know.

Do you have pictures of the new setup? I'm curious to see how you are keeping him. People like that tick me off! Glad you took him!
