  • What's wrong with my fat tail?

    I hope I'm in the right place, I've noticed the scales on her head are turning a blue/gray colour. Is she sick? She's eating and drinking just fine, and seems all right. You can see them in the photo, if you need a clearer one, I'll post another. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Looks as if she may be in the early stages of shedding. I see it on my leos more often than my fat tails. Could be due to a humidity issue, but that's not a guarantee. Give her a few more days and see if she goes into shed.

      I agree with shedding...just make sure her humid hide is moist, and you may also need to mist her enclosure more often in the winter since the air is dryer.

        Shedding, no worries as long as it all comes off.
