Which one? The short one is some random water plant I got at greenhouse. The other tall ones are bamboo.

And yes, my beta LOVES the plants.

Not sure, it was random $2 grab from either a pet store or a greenhouse. Unmarked when I got it.

The tank has been set up for a week and everyone is happy!

Living in peace are the 4 danioes, the breeding pair of green anoles, one 5 lined skink, spring peeper, and a baby rough green.

Everyone loves it and they've all found "spots" to hang out in.

The springtails are going in today.

They arrived in what i assume is coal or carbon, what's the best way to "filter" them out of this to add them to the tank?

ive been told to hold off on adding spring tails for a while until some waste can build up. also be careful mixing species its best just to stick to one species.

They're in charcoal. I hate charcoal. Add water until they all float and pour the water into the soil. If you think they need food throw a mushroom in for them. Add water back into the original culture and feed a mushroom. There will probably be enough left in there that you can't see to keep that culture going and you can reseed later if you need to.

Yep, i know it's not reccomended; but this community, aside from the Rough Green, have been living together for a long time and he's so small that he won't look at any of these guys as food.

Done and done, and i'm using uncooked rice (reccomended from the springtail guy) to feed them, small pinch once a week, they are looking good!

I haven't posted in a while, life has been crazy but i hope to get some new pictures of this tank up later this weekend it's crazy over grown now lol!

Since the last time i posted, I've come into a Frilled Dragon, 2 5ft Ball Pythons, 6 Armadillo lizards, 7 Green Tree Frogs ( who just had babies# , 3 Great Plains Skinks, a culture of Dubias #over 300) and a sweet little whip-tail lizard, all rescues from people who didn't want them anymore.

Tonight I'm on my way to pick up a used 125gal to convert into another half and half that is going to be KILLER! I can't wait to start on it.

So these are old pictures, sorry. The tank has since been taken down because my wife and I moved, i'm in the process of redesigning and setting this up bigger and better.
