    Well, my aldabras are only yearlings, so these enclosures are bound to get much much bigger Aldabras are torts from the Seychelles, reaching weights sometimes over 600 pounds.

    Here is my enclosure that I just started working on.

    That is awesome! I can't wait to see how big they get. How many years does it take for them to grow to adult?

      They're gorgeous!

      Do you have to worry about creatures coming into your yard and harming them? Or people stealing them?

        I worry all the time, but I am a stay at home domestic goddess so I am here. I do still bring them in and we are putting in some wicked pointed iron fencing with an alarm hwhen they are old enough to be out. Hatchlings don't go out except very supervised.

        For the aldabras, a six year old can get pretty darn heavy. Like sulcatas, they grow really fast!
