New user with new crestie
I've wanted a crestie for a few years now but never actually gotten one until Yesterday. He is an adult male, currently un-named (feel free to suggest something if the mood strikes you). I consider him a good find from a local reptile store. I'm guessing he would be considered a flame? I would say his pinstripe is aout 85%.
He's living in a 29 gallon naturalistic setup and waiting for me to find him some ladies. I'm itching for two weeks to pass before I can start handling him. He is a bit flighty, and very inquisitive but I have high hopes for him to be my photography model. Pictures are him flared down and not the best quality as they were taken in his tank and without proper photo equipment, with flash...just generally not great but I wanted to share him. More to come when I can get him out and have him pose. When he is fired he is a lovely dark olive.   | ||||

Very nice crestie and Welcome to the forum and the addiction! As far as a name goes pick a theme you will wind up with more than one! If I named him I would have to keep him.

I really like his crests (especially in the second shot!) and colour, you could name him something tree or plant like because he's olive.

Personally, I'd name him Leo, his bright yellow crests look manelike in the second picture! He's gorgeous!
