Default Worried about my little guy!

I'm pretty worried about my new crestie. He won't eat the CGD at all, when we first got him he pooped for the first few days, but now it has been about a week since he's used the bathroom. At the pet store he was fed CGD mixed with baby food, I've gotten rid of the baby food and only offer him CGD. I tried putting some on his little face and he will lick it off, but he doesn't seem interested in it at all! He's just been moved to his permanent enclosure about two days ago, so I'm wondering if it's just stress. I haven't been handling him for the past few days, but I did give in and offer him a few crickets in his KK before I moved him into his 12x12x18 sized enclosure a few days ago. The crickets seemed to pinch his legs and he didn't show interest so I panicked and removed him. No more crickets for Bazil! His temp is usually about 70-75 during the day, with a slight drop at night. I mist in the morning and at night to about 75 or 80%, it drops down to about 40% in between misting. I change his food every other day and am keeping it in a small Gatorade lid. Am I doing something wrong? At what point should I start to worry if I don't see poop?

I think the stress of moving and the fact that hes being put straight on CGD may be why hes not eating so well. I would say for now, no more hand feedings or moving him around. I would give him a week or two without handling and keep leaving the CGD in the tank and he'll take right to it. He won't starve himself I think hes just a lil over stressed from all thats been going on. You seem to be doing everything just right.

Try tempting him to eat the CGD by mixing a little bit of organic honey into. Baby food has alot of sugar and putting it in the CGD makes it sweet, a little honey should tempt him enough to eat again.

I wouldn't worry with the honey right now, His diet has been switched around enough. Honey is an ok snack from time to time, but right now I think you need to focus on getting him to eat only the CGD. He needs to have time to settle in

Does anyone think it might help to mess around with the texture of the food? Maybe use a little less water and see if he likes it better that way?

Bazil still isn't eating. I'm worried sick, this little guy is going to be the death of me! At what point should I consider setting up a vet appointment? At the two week mark?

well imo, its always good to get a fecal done if you can, but if its just feeding problems i'm not really sure how much a vet would be able to do...

just try to relax and let him get settled. it can take time getting a stressed gecko to eat, and they're only going to do it when they're ready. unless he's visibly losing weight really quickly, you shouldn't panic. there are other things you can try if he goes another week or two without eating.
