Mine has only made little vocal noises a couple times, and mostly it seemed to be in protest or surprise to being picked up. It sounded more like a tiny fart than a squeak though?

From what I've been told over the past year, when a leachie "whistles" or squeaks when you hold it that means it's stressed. Try holding her in short intervals at first until she gets used to you. Can anyone here confirm?
