    Default Boelens

I got to visit a friends breeding facility in Ohio this week which was very cool! I only had my camera phone so I forgive the pic quality! This is a Boelens python, and the first one I've ever seen in person, it was amazingly impressive, it's a big snake with huge head, and enormous black scales. I haven't really been blown away by seeing a snake in awhile but this did it for me!

Heres a link to a bigger pic of it. http://www.pangeareptile.com/photos/file.php?n=503&w=o

    That's awesome!

That's pretty good resolution for a camera phone.

Boelens are awesome....too bad they are so hard to reproduce

Does you frriend just keep the one or does he plan/have bred them?

    They are super cool

He definitely wants to breed them, he has an adult pair, so we'll see what he can do with them.

I work with 2 pairs at the zoo! They are amazing!!!

Also Pro-exotics (here in Denver) is working with some..

I really hope that someone can figure out the *key* to their breeding success....

Cool snake though, I'll have to show my husband. He will know how impressed to be. I just know enough to think it's pretty!
