Default just saved a Garg off Craigslist

So i was looking at CL last night. Never a good idea..And i see a Garg is for sale plus enclosure for $125. i ask the gender- it is male. I ask for better pics, they send me a few. The enclosure looked to be a 12x12x18 in the pics. When i went to pick him up today, he had been living in this little 8x8x12. And he is 3-4 inches SVL. I am so glad i was able to save him. I have to go out tomorrow and get him stuff he needs, but for now he is in my largest kritter keeper. it is over 2x the size of his old home. people really make me sad. I will sell the small enclosure after i clean it up. I rinsed it with bleach water, but want to give it a second wash before I put it up for sale. Turns out this male is from the same breeder i got my female from. And he is a nice looking gecko. Name: Marble1.jpg

Awww, thanks for taking him. Any idea how old he is? I know he'll be a whole lot happier now!

she said he is just over a year, But he is way bigger than my new female who is also the same age. He has been eating live insects, so i know that helps them to grow.

Wow something's are just meant to be.
Glad he's gone to a great experienced gecko keeping home.
He is nice & chunky. Live food defiantly makes quite a difference to growth rate.
This time next year you may have many many gargoyles just like this one!
    Congratulations

I just checked for pores, since he has a lump. HE has pores. So i have a male for sure. He didn't enjoy being held upside down and he fake-nipped me, but he is ok now.

Bless him, yes he does have a bulge but confirmation is not a bad thing as I have been caught out with one of mine who was adult when I got her but sold as male & I was less experienced then so named Golumn. Confirmed by her laying eggs!

Yes to the untrained eye she does appear to have a bulge compared to some of my girls.
    You live & learn.
But agree if you can confirm not a bad thing particularly if you may decide to breed at some point.
