Question Gecko Sleeping on Bottom of Enclosure

My gecko had started sleeping on the paper towel substrate during the day. She still gets up and moves around and climbs at night. Should I be worried?
    Thanks!

Nope, no need to worry. If she's active and looking healthy, eating normally, she's fine. Do you have any hides on the floor of the tank?

Yeah, sometimes they like to switch up their sleeping positions for no apparent reason. One of mine likes to hide under big pieces of bark on the ground from time to time, though he usually sleeps in an elevated paper towel tube with "doors." When I see him asleep on the ground, he often is curled in a different position that he would not be able to assume when inside a tube, so he may be choosing to sleep there based on the position in which he wants to sleep. Another one has a big whelk shell in his tank; it's his favourite sleeping spot, even though he has two other hides higher up. A third will sleep in one location for months, and then, for no reason that I can tell, will spend months in another spot (in this case, a tube on the ground). Anyway, long story short, don't worry about it.

My gecko sleeps on the ground a lot, either in his pvc tube or his dino egg hide. Any chance he may be shedding? Maybe he doesn't feel like sleeping higher up because his feet aren't sticky enough.
