    Default substrate question

I am getting set up set up for my first crested gecko. Wondering if anyone is using repti bark? I am not doing natural tank, but repti bark helps keep humidity up. I live in las vegas area, so harder to keep humidity up. I would be changing this every 6 weeks in a 18x18x24 exo terra. By the way, Barney is my juvie chuckwalla. I have read that eco earth, used this way, needs changing every 3 to 4 weeks. input appreciated. Ron

I use eco earth with sphagnum moss on top. I never change my eco earth. My first crestie is currently in a viv that has been going for 12 years. The only issue with repti bark is whether the gecko will ingest some of it.
