    Default Dawn soap

I just cleaned my crested gecko tank and I soak everything in a 5 gallon bucket with a little bit of dawn soap while I clean his enclosure. Then I when Iím done cleaning his enclosure I focus on cleaning his decorations. I take them out of the bucket rinse off the soap, spray wipe off use a scrub brush to scrub off any poo then rinse that off all in like warm water. Now I just opened the cage to check on everything and it had a smell of the dawn soap. Is this okay? Or should I take my gecko out and rinse everything off again?
I clean my enclosure every Thursday.

Try using a vinegar/water mix instead or just scrub them in hot water, you don't really need soap to clean the decor

Or a couple of drops of lemon juice in water works too, and doesn't leave a scent.

You can also use a quality reptile-grade disinfectant, such as F10 SC or Pangaea's in house product.
