    Echo peed on me and some wierd white bird poo looking thing came put too. Help!? I have a pic!Name:  IMG_0505.jpg

    The white chalky substance that comes out with the poop is the lizard equivelent to our liquid pee, its perfectly normal, the only time you should be concerned is if the color of the urate changes to something other than white.

    Yep, it's a reptile equivalent of mammal pee, same thing as in birds (they are more related to each other than us). Technically it's called urates. As long as it's white, or off-light-yellow, you're fine. There will usually be some liquid yellow stuff that's more like our pee along with the urates when they "go", but not a lot. They conserve water by concentrating their waste into a solid, or semi-solid. Your little one is perfectly fine!!! The first time a snake goes for a first time owner, it tends to be really freaky because it can look kinda like an egg sometimes. Oh, cresties go wherever they are when they feel like it too, so sometimes you'll find it stuck to the glass. It'll need some scrubbing to get off. Everything is perfectly fine!!!!
