Default I'm interested in getting a Leopard Gecko

Hello, I am a neurotic individual who loves all things reptile and I simple just can't have enough..... lol I'm sure alot of people with a reptile obsession feels this way! anywho I've been thinking about getting another gecko as Im going to have an empty 30g tank available, once I finish my beardies upgraded 55 gallon. I'm really interested in leopard geckos, and I was wondering if anyone has any recommended breeders or places to obtain a healthy leo. also would a 30g be big enough for one leo? are there any leo forums like pangea out there that I can find for additional research. I'd also love to see other peoples leos and tank setups. I know they need a humid hide, and cool hide and heat etc. what kind of substrate is best? can eco earth be used? also since they require live food, and I never feed my crestie live in their tanks are leo's okay with being fed outside their tanks? thankyou for reading and answering my weird questions lol

Yep, a 30 gallon is fine. Just fill it with lots of cover so your Leo doesn't get stressed. Eco earth is a great substrate, just keep it dry. You can feed Leos outside of their tank, but not all Leos will. Hope this helps

Yea, probably Murphy's Patternless. That's what I thought at first, but then I thought they were entirely grey. But now that I think about it, entirely grey is Blizzard. Lol so many morphs!

Yep. Unless the tank is wooden, then it goes inside

The heat mat can stay on 24/7, but I'd turn it down to 80 at night to mimic the temperature drop they'd experience in the wild (you need a thermostat). I'm not sure whether it's the cheapest brand, but I use a zoo med heat mat. The light will be fine temporarily. A Leo I used to have used to be a little overweight, but got back to a healthy weight eventually after I cut down his amount of insects from 8 to 4. So you could try feeding her fewer insects for awhile. Are they housed together?
